EVERTON LINKED WITH PIENAAR

Everton are reportedly close to tying up a loan deal for South African midfielder Steven Pienaar.

The Liverpool Echo claims that the 25-year-old is due to arrive in England for talks with David Moyes about making the switch from German side Borussia Dortmund.

He has failed to settle at the German club after moving from Dutch side Ajax.

Pienaar has been capped 20 times by South Africa and can play anwhere across the midfield.

Everton are also expected to wrap up the signing of Swiss midfielder Johann Vogel, who is on the verge of signing a two-year contract.
