VAN DER SAR ADMITS MISTAKES

Edwin van der Sar has admitted that this might be his last season as mistakes are sneaking into his game.

The Dutch keeper started Manchester United's pre-season in erratic fashion with a mistake against Urawa Red Diamonds.

He admits that he ended last season in poor form - which prompted rumours that Ben Foster would replace him as first-choice keeper.

"I didn't have the same consistency at the end of the season as I had earlier in the season. I don't know why," said the Dutchman.

"I don't know what is going to happen at the end of the season. I am at a certain stage in my life when you just take it step by step."
